Sacred Earth Farm
Our Vision
Our Story
Sacred Earth Farm is owned and operated by the Buie Family. Dan and Rebecca, along with their children Vivian, Simeon, and Lilian, live just north of Marshall on Highway 65. Dan returned to farm with his father after graduating from MU with a degree in Animal Science in 1991. Over the years, Dan and Rebecca have experimented with a variety of crop and livestock enterprises while always looking for quality products to enhance their farming operation. The sheep enterprise was started at Sacred Earth Farm in 2006 when Vivian decided to show sheep in 4-H. In an effort to build a superior flock of meat animals, Dan and Vivian chose show quality breeding ewes and crossed them with heavily muscled rams. The result has been a flock of strong, healthy lambs. Vivian has successfully shown her rams, ewes, and wether lambs at both the Saline County Fair and Missouri State Fair receiving numerous ribbons and awards. Each year, select ewe lambs are saved back to add to our flock so that we can offer you the highest quality lambs available. The remaining lambs are offered to you, our valued customer. Thanks for supporting Sacred Earth Farm and Vivian’s 4-H project.
